- Solution Methodology
We have adopted a methodology designed to ensure our solutions perform to our Customers' Satisfaction.
Customer Requirements: We document your requirements for a solution, and the RF Design, Engineering, and quote is
based upon those unique customer requirements.
RF Site Analysis: We measure the RF Signal Strength and direction to ensure the solution will work given the environmental parameters.
Building RF Design: We engineer the solution to ensure maximum RF Amplification using factors such as Building Design, Tower Location, and coverage needs.
Implementation: Using the requirements and RF Design, we implement the solution documenting placement of all components.
Customer Acceptance: Before our customer signs off on our solution, we have them test their equipment before we leave to ensure it works to their satisfaction.
- Products
Spotwave: Five-Bars uses Spotwave exclusively
for 15,000 sq ft or larger Commercial Designs for several reasons. First, they
can be reprogrammed to work with any carrier, So if you had Sprint as your provider
and wanted to switch to say AT&T, we would reprogram
the System. Most of the competitive brand equipment would need to be replaced,
so flexibility for the customer is an advantage. Second, Spotwave has
single carrier systems, meaning they support only one carrier and only amplify
one carrier's
frequency. This is important because amplifying more than one carrier can cause
interference, which is a clear violation of the FCC Rules. In addition, carriers
will approve a system for a commercial customer to operate on their carrier
network because Spotwave meets their requirements.
Proxim: For WiFi or Wireless Networks we use Proxim because they are powerful (good signal), commercial grade (reliable),
and cost effective. Compare this to an off the shelf Linksys or D-Link that can cover one or two rooms (few hundred sq ft) to one Proximthat can cover an entire office (few thousand sq ft). They are difficult to program but well worth the effort. We typically also add
external antennas with Proxim to increase the coverage area.
